Asantewaa Sound:
Asantewaa Sound – „Original Bad Gal Sound“ wurde im Sommer 2013 gegründet. Trotz der Spezialisierung auf Dancehall umfasst das musikalische Repertoire von Asantewaa Sound moderne afrikanische Musikrichtungen wie Afrobeats, Afrobashment, Afrotrap, Gqom und Amapiano. Diese Vorliebe spiegelt sich auch im Soundnamen wieder, der von „Yaa Asantewaa“ stammt, einer Kriegerkönigin der Ashanti-Volksgruppe in Ghana.
Der Soundname reflektiert zudem Asantewaas Ambition, weibliche Künstlerinnen und DJs in der immer noch von Männern dominierten Musikbranche zu fördern und zu stärken.
Bisher hat Asantewaa Sound auf Partys und Festivals in Deutschland, den Niederlanden, Jamaika, Ghana, Gambia und Uganda gespielt.
Da es in diesem Jahr ihr 10-jähriges Jubiläum ist, wird Asantewaa Sound eine Selection ihrer Lieblings-Tunes von 2013 bis heute spielen.
DJ Samsam:
DJ SamSam ist eine lebendige, kreative Künstlerin, die es liebt, zu entertainen. Sie ist begeistert von Musik aus verschiedenen Teilen der Welt und teilt gerne ihre Lieblings-Tunes mit dem Publikum. Sie zeichnet sich dadurch aus, verschiedene Genres von Afrobeats über Amapiano und Dancehall bis hin zu Trap und Drill gekonnt zu mixen.
DJ Jahrone:
Seit 2013 ist Jahrone Soundmember der Rebel Sound Crew (Hannover/Köln) und ist ein echtes Multitalent im Bereich der afro-karibischen Music. Er hat sich weit über die Stadtgrenzen Hannovers hinaus einen Namen gemacht hat, sei es beim Nottinghill Carnival in London, beim Roadblock in Port Antonio (Jamaika) oder als Gast bei Ghanas bekanntester internationaler Reggae-Radio-Show „Yaad Settings“ in Accra (Ghana).

Instead of organizing just another party with Afrobeats music, Awoko aims at bringing you authentic vibes like being in the streets or clubs of Accra, Lagos or Soweto.
Asantewaa Sound:
Asantewaa Sound – “original Bad Gal Sound“ was founded in summer 2013.
Despite being specialized in Dancehall, Asantewaa Sound’s musical repertoire always included modern African music like Afrobeats, Afrobashment, Afrotrap or Gqom and Amapiano. This preference is also reflected in the sound name which stems from „Yaa Asantewaa“, a warrior queen mother from the Ashanti people in Ghana.
The soundname further reflects Asantewaa’s ambition to promote and empower female artists and DJs in the still male dominated music business.
So far Asantewaa Sound has played at partys and festivals in Germany, the Netherlands, Jamaica, Ghana, Gambia and Uganda.
Since it‘s their 10-years anniversary this year Asantewaa Sound will play a selection of their favorite tunes from 2013 until now.

DJ SamSam is a vibrant, creative artist who loves to entertain. She is passionate about music from different parts of the world and loves to share her favourite tunes with her audience. She enjoys mixing her favourite genres ranging from Afrobeats, Amapiano and Dancehall to Trap and Drill sounds.
DJ Jahrone:
Jahrone has been a sound member of the Rebel Sound Crew (Hannover/Cologne) since 2013 and is a real all-rounder in the field of Afro-Caribbean music.
He has made a name for himself far beyond the city limits of Hanover, be it at the Nottinghill Carnival in London, at the Roadblock in Port Antonio (Jamaica) or as a guest at Ghana’s most famous international reggae -Radio show „Yaad Settings“ in Accra (Ghana).
