We are very sorry and disappointed, but in light of the current Covid-19 crisis and the ban of public events, our 2020 tour dates had to be postponed to September 2021. We were able to reschedule all dates, all tickets remain valid and will be honored for the rescheduled events.
Since we will not be able to play shows this year, we are postponing the release of our debut album ‚Modern Eyes‘ to 2021 as well. We will not stop releasing new music, though. Stay tuned for news to come soon!

BLOODHYPE sind eine Indie-Band aus Berlin: Elmar Weyland, Erik Laser, Matt Müller und Christopher Kohl.
Der BLOODHYPE Plan war einfach: Mit Freunden Musik machen in einer WG in Friedrichshain, nachts Tracks auf Elmar Weylands Laptop aufnehmen, Debut EP veröffentlichen, 2 Millionen Streams, Hype in Blogs von London bis Lissabon, von Paris bis Poznan.
Aber war das wirklich der Plan? Keiner erinnert sich so wirklich…Nach einem Sommer voller Festivals, Support Tourneen mit Taking Back Sunday und Blackout Problems sowie der ersten ausverkauften Headliner Tour, machen BLOODHYPE jetzt auf jeden Fall tatsächlich große Pläne: Nachdem Ende 2019 Hate Candidate veröffentlicht wurde, steht BLOODHYPEs neue
Single Violent Heart jetzt in den Startlöchern. Ein schimmernder 80s Throwback mit modernem Twist – der perfekte Soundtrack zu einem High-School Film voller Selbstmitleid, Drama und gebrochenen Herzen. Mastermind und Frontmann Weyland holte sich für den Song Unterstützung von dem UK Produzenten John “P Nut” Harrison, der schon mit Amy Winehouse oder Alice Merton große Erfolge feiern konnte.
Im Sommer 2020 werden BLOODHYPE ihr lang erwartetes Debut Album Modern Eyes veröffentlichen. Eine Sammlung von Tracks, aufgenommen an den verschiedensten Orten in Berlin. Vom Hansa Studio bis zum fensterlosen Proberaum im Keller in Kreuzberg.
Und auf der Tour zum Album im Herbst wird es natürlich alle Songs der Band zu hören geben.
