Screamer, singer, storyteller — Dave Smalley is a hardcore voice of a
generation. Believing that punk rock music and lyrics and attitude make
our lives, and our world, better, his legendary bands – D.Y.S., Dag
Nasty, ALL and Down By Law – have made an impact on countless people all
over the world since 1981. Now Dave brings some of those songs, and some
of the stories, to the stage for a special one-night intimate show. He
and his friend, Marcelo Pesoa, of the acclaimed Spanish melodic punk
group the Rockweilers, will play a unique collection of songs from
across Dave’s long career, as well as a few surprises that will make
audiences smile, cheer and sing along.
“I have always loved the connection with people and the special vibe at
the solo shows,” Dave says. “It’s kind of the essence of music to me –
sharing stories, being open and connecting musically in a way that is
very personal.”
